In 1971, PT Twink Indonesia started the production of Low Voltage insulators for PT PLN (PERSERO) through the acquisition in of Ceramic Factory Bandung, followed by producing the 20kV Medium Voltage Distribution Insulators. Since then, we have grown to be a leader for insulators manufacturers in Indonesia. In line with the increase in demand from PT PLN (PERSERO), the company expanded the insulators production by setting up a new plant in Cikarang with technical assistance from Lapp Insulator Co., United States in 1991.
In 2010, PT Twink Indonesia acquired Wika NGK ceramic insulator factory which has exquisite ceramic insulators and have been used in many countries such as Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and America. Currently, we are using the factory to produce high quality ceramic insulators, and managing the distribution of the insulators across Indonesia to fulfill the demand from PLN.
Since 2015, PT Twink Indonesia has been collaborating with PT PLN (PERSERO) through the Open Book Contract to fulfill the needs of insulators in Indonesia. We have been supplying ceramic insulators to projects all over the country such as Java, Sumatera, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Papua, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara. Currently, we are one of the PLN’s most trusted companies and have repeatedly extended contracts with PT PLN (PERSERO).
